Major holidays and weather conditions may change delivery availability. Call early to place a Christmas Week, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day order.
Canadian shipments can be delivered between Tuesday and Friday (see below for Saturday delivery charges). An address is required prior to shipping your order to determine the shipping charge to your area. Shipping is charged on the “total box weight” of the shipment. (Total box weight meaning the complete weight of the shipment, including the box, icepacks etc).
U.S.A Shipments require an address before determining the shipping costs. Since your shipment will be crossing the border into another country, there may be an increase in shipping costs. Please Contact Lobster Fresh Direct by E-Mail or Phone Prior to Ordering U.S.A Shipments.
Saturday shipments: A $25 dollar fee for Saturday deliveries is standard by the shipping companies for their Saturday delivery service.
Unfortunately we are unable to control the time of delivery to your residence. Most orders arrive between 8am and 5pm during the week, and between 8am and 8pm on Saturdays.
It is for that reason that we recommend having your lobsters shipped to the nearest shipping depot in your area. This will allow you to pick up your package at your earliest convenience between 9am and 5pm in most areas. This way you will not have to wait around for your lobsters to arrive, you just have to go pick them up!
When an order is placed, we will provide you with a tracking number so that you may track your shipment online, or call the shipping company for information. (all tracking information will be provided after you place your order)

Prices subject to change without notice. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error does occur.
Lobster Fresh Direct guarantees the quality of its lobsters on the scheduled day of delivery. All claims must be made on the day of delivery by calling 902-482-5231. No claims are honoured if not made on day of delivery.
If you make arrangements to pick up your package at the local shipping depot, we guarantee that your shipment will be alive and fresh when picked up, providing the pickup occurs prior to the depot’s closing time on the scheduled date of delivery. Lobster Fresh Direct assumes no responsibility for orders picked up by customers after depot’s closing time on the scheduled date of delivery.
Our delivery guarantee does not apply to shipments that are delayed due to causes beyond our control, including, but not limited to, the following: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment, delays caused by the consignee, acts of God, or disruptions in the air or ground transportation network (such as weather phenomena), and natural disasters.
All items are packaged accordingly in case of such delays. Live lobster can live 24-36 hours when packed for travel, and other seafood can last up to 4 days.
Lobster Fresh Direct can not and will not be responsible for incorrect delivery addresses, causing non delivery, due to the address given by the customer!
Cancellation Policy
Orders must be cancelled at least one day prior to the day the order is scheduled to be shipped. We cannot be held responsible if you wish to cancel your order on the day it is being shipped out, because more than likely, it has already been packed and shipped out.

Business hours are 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. But messages and e-mails are checked 7 days a week so you may leave a voice mail message. Typically, we are able to respond to questions even after our normal business hours, so don’t hesitate to leave a voice message.
